It was just a fine choice for a weekend respite in Anchorage with good price value. The bed in the 4-bed mixed dorm was clean and I appreciated the access to a shared kitchen where I could prepare my own meals.

I had an amazing time here! The floating bath was such a unique experience, and I loved making pancakes for breakfast. The sauna was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration. I'd definitely return!

my stay at base camp was great! the friendly and homely atmosphere made it feel like home. the volunteers kept everything spotless, and the managers were super helpful. i especially loved the flotation tank and sauna for relaxing after a long day. having neat bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen made my stay even better.
